Hello to all PTCC Great Lakes Region members,
As I write this, it is mid-August. OK, maybe a little past "mid" August.
Cruise the Trolley was a lot of fun. Some scenic cruising, lunch (and beer) at a brewpub, and on to the trolley and museum. At the Elegant farmer, a number of people made purchases of foods including pies baked in paper bags. I had never tried it, but it was worth the trip.
August 10th was the Greendale Village Days Parade. Steve Peters was our contact for that, and we had 5 cars participating. After the parade, we enjoyed food, and some local history by Steve, who grew up in Greendale.
Cruise the Dells will be October 17-19. I have a few registrations so far, but I'd like to see plenty more. This year offers cruising (of course), our traditional lunch and car show at Moosejaw Pizza and Brewpub, and after some more cruising, the fun of a corn maze. For the the registration form for Cruise the Dells, Click here for pdf (preferred), or click here for a jpg (image file). If you open the
image file, click on it in the browser, to make it full size. It is your memberships that support this web site and the PTCC e-mail system (both of which help get the word out about events), and the club insurance. Please continue your memberships and encourage other PT owners to join PTCC also, so these events can repeat and grow. Also, be sure to tell other PT Cruiser owners about our events and PTCC, too. We have recently lost the Cruiser Quarterly as a means to share how much fun we have at our events
event (especially if you can plan, or help plan it), please let me know, and I will help spread the word here. And come to the parades and events, too. It's great to meet other PT people, and see the PTs they love.
Please note that it is no longer ptcruiserevents.com |
